Well built and secure

Easy to install and secure. I use this to hold (2) snowboards but easily fits (4) upside down. Comes with locks that secure your hardware and there is a special hex key that holds the brackets to your vehicle's cross members after you tighten them during initial installation.

Do Your Job - Cycling

Instructions were a bit unclear but installation was easy. These things really do their job. Wind noise is noticeable and I noticed a very slight increase in gas mileage, but both were to be expected. The convenience of throwing skis in and knowing they're safe is worth it.

So far, so good at Sport

So far, so good! Fairly easy to attach to a factory Toyota CHR roof rack. We only hear the whistle when we stack our boards towards the sky. So the whistling is less from the mount itself and more from the boards. I'm not sure what else to say about her. They're great, they do exactly what they're supposed to do. We haven't lost a single board/ski yet.

Generally good and strong, but I would like them to be attached to the crossbars.

Nice luggage rack. It is very easy to install and doesn't take much time. The brackets do NOT snap to the crossbars, which is what we had hoped. However, there are special head allen screws that are less common (less likely for a would-be thief to have a tool handy) that secure the handle that loosens the fasteners. Also, they cannot be used without modification if you plan to bolt to T-bars. The way the arms are raised to allow the skis/boards to go into the bar when secured with T-bar bolts…
