As a designer I thought I would love this yarn. Can't recommend it.

Falls a lot! It's soft and dreamy and makes any pattern really fast. I was thrilled and could imagine buying many more of them. First. The first break I took from working with him was full of fibers! I finished my project - a heavy and snuggly blanket would be very desirable - but it was a gift and I didn't feel comfortable giving if it left fibers with all recipients. The instructions say don't wash, but I did anyway. Washed without soap on continuous press - hand and delicate wash could not withstand the weight. Given for squeezing, skipped rinsing and subsequent spinning. There were so many fibers in my washing machine, I couldn't believe it! I put it in the dryer on "heavy". I had to do these two cycles before it was completely dry. Again the filter was completely clogged with fibers - I had to clean it both times. I would probably use this for hand weaving, but never for clothes or blankets. I love its softness and I don't mind that it's heavy. It should be classified as a kind of vagrancy.

Pros
  • Knitting sample: 5 sts and 7 rows on a needle size of 19 mm (US 35)
Cons
  • Expensive
