I just started taking tap dancing classes as an adult. I bought these shoes because the reviews are pretty good, they are leather and the price is not astronomical. They tend to work a little on the small side. I have wide feet, so I always buy medium-sized shoes half a size bigger. I went up a whole size and could probably use half more. When I wear tights or very thin socks, they are snug, but not too tight. So far so good, no signs of tapering loosening or dropping off and as I said the fit is decent. My tap dance teacher confirmed my choice.
