These shoes came in an unlabeled box. I had to put the laces in myself. The cleats on the shoes don't quite match the shoe. There is a gap between the faucet and the shoe even after trying to tighten them myself. Heel tapping goes beyond the heel, which can be a problem when my child is dancing. All in all, I'm disappointed, especially after spending $70 on it.

Starting January, I'll be using a faucet for the first time in my life! I've tried a few different Revain shoes and this is my favorite. The leather makes them comfortable and the taps sound nice. I ordered one size smaller than my street size (women's 7) and a size 8 was just right. Now if only I could find out what happened to the other shoes I sent back. . .

I bought 3 pairs of these Bloch tap shoes. I bought 2 of 3 from Revain. The pair on the left is a women's size 5 that I bought a year ago. When my daughter outgrew them this year I ordered the full size from the same listing in my order history. It is quite obvious that the shoes are not the same and the shoes sent are NOT the same as the photo. Try to buy shoes from trusted dance shops.

I just started taking tap dancing classes as an adult. I bought these shoes because the reviews are pretty good, they are leather and the price is not astronomical. They tend to work a little on the small side. I have wide feet, so I always buy medium-sized shoes half a size bigger. I went up a whole size and could probably use half more. I usually wear size 7-7.5 women's shoes and haven't bought or used dance shoes for at least 5 years so I chose size 7.5 . and in the end I had to increase the size to 8. They are still a bit small but after I broke them they were fine. Overall they look and sound great but the wooden sole was a little awkward to break in to get my feet moving the way I wanted. Buy these as they are beautifully made and have stood the test of time and the stress I have put on them!

I ordered them 2 years ago and I really like them. You must order one size larger. I wear a 6 but I had to take a 7 in these but they are a bit wider and that makes the shoe very comfortable. The shoes are very well made and durable. I dance 4 days a week and have worn a lot of shoes and they are holding up well. These are great shoes but I wish they were easier to determine! For those struggling with manual sizing, this is my experience. My daughter (8 years) wears 2.5 street shoes. I believe that equates to a 4.5 dance shoe. Then order 1-2 sizes larger. Much confusion? So I started with a size 6.5 and they were definitely too big - they would have kicked her out in step class.
