THESE HUNDREDS BURNED. There are very few bad burns, and it's really impossible to tell if it was the drive, or a corrupted file, or the software that made the mistake. I have done a lot of research since they form my media library. I use branded discs because I've found that there is more than one company that makes them. You can find this data and make your own choice. the price is almost the same. Do homework. I recently started backing up 20 year old CDs with pictures and various files on these Blu-ray discs. We were concerned about how many of these older drives could corrupt data. That's what they said. and to my surprise they were the cheapest. A quick look during recording showed no corrupted frames from countless camera shots, and I have about 100 discs. I'm just saying.
