We cook a lot of soup in the winter and so many recipes call for broth that we tend to freeze 1-cup packets. That means we wait for it to cool completely and then put it in ziplock bags. Two problems: first, it delays the process of cleaning the pot (a pain), and second, we usually rush it a bit by putting it in plastic bags when it's still a little warm (makes you think about the health consequences of heat in plastic bags). .THIS SOLVES BOTH PROBLEMS. Being silicone this can be done right away, so you can finish the pots while you're still in the mood (or as far as possible) and let them cool, covering if necessary, while the dishes are done. It also fits perfectly in our freezer. I'm glad he exists. Love it.
