Make sure it's still assembled

I have a couple of orange trees in my garden. Oranges are not very good to eat, but they have delicious juice. I bought this juicer to speed up juicing oranges. At first I was impressed by the handle and the apparent strength of the juicer. It was heavy and felt like premium gear. After about 20 minutes of juicing I was a bit disappointed - one of the screws fell out. No problem, I'll just put it back in. Then I noticed the poor quality of the metal the screws are made of. The block itself is die cast and appears to be powder coated with a durable finish, but the bolts are very soft to the touch. scrap metal. I find this a little disappointing but not a sufficient reason to return an item. Overall, I think I made the right decision in purchasing this juicer. All the others I looked at were slightly cheaper but had more noticeable flaws. This juicer does the job. I used it to juice all 300 oranges from my trees. It did a pretty good job of getting all the juice. The top of the strainer (bottom of the press) has a flat top which is probably needed for larger citrus but leaves some orange intact in the peel. It wasn't that bad so I didn't mess with most, but with the smallest oranges I used the empty rind of a previously squeezed orange to fill in the gap and squeeze out all the juice. For grapefruit, this juicer did an amazing job. I recommend you consider this juicer with the caveat that you check the tightness of the screws (hex screws) about every 15 minutes after juicing.
