I bought this product together with the Biocera Alkaline Antioxidant jar a week ago. After going through the entire ritual of washing the Santevia jug, allowing the water to drip onto the filter for 2 minutes, inserting the filter into the jug, filling it and emptying it twice, I was ready to pour the water to put the test. The first thing that struck me is that this jug filters the water very quickly compared to the Biocera which takes about 30 minutes to filter all the water from the holding tank. I checked to see if the filter was firmly seated and it was. More importantly, when I tested the water for alkalinity, it showed a pH of 6 and below, while Biocera showed a pH of 9. I love the price, the capacity, and the new approach to filling a jug, but it really is. It is not worth. I haven't tested oxidation, but if this product can't even offer a decent level of alkalinity, there's no need to go any further. Very disappointed.
