I wasn't sure what to expect

These virtual reality headsets are really just Google's glorified box holders. They are a plastic version of a cell phone holder. The trick is that the lenses it contains allow you to focus on two images coming from a mobile phone. The images come from software that divides a scene into scenes. It's a rudimentary virtual reality, but it has decent entertainment value.
