FYI I am a retired USN Salage employee and used to working with complex heavy duty rigging, towing and lifting systems . the compact system fully met my expectations. I plan to use it less than 4 times to assist in felling trees 8" or less in diameter. SAFE USE: To ensure safe use, the purchaser must be "familiar” with the design, setup, and operation of the rigging equipment. (at least 2 or 3 hours research). COMPLEXITY IN DESIGN AND USE: Unless you have hours of "hands on" experience and a "true understanding" of the task, I highly recommend purchasing "complete systems" designed to do the job. .Heavy duty systems are available with larger diameter pulleys and heavier line. Custom systems can be designed or ordered (pre-assembled and certified).
