Love these batteries! They come pre-charged so you don't have to waste time charging them before using them and as they are AA and AAA batteries they are the most commonly used batteries in my household. They seem to last as long as regular alkaline wood, I've tried AA in a small children's remote control toy and they work just fine. Then plug them into the charger and Boom! After a short time they are charged and ready for use again. Of course, the ones I tested came without a charger, but there are quite a few chargers these days. Make sure you are using a charger that supports NiMH batteries. A while ago I bought a flashlight and camera battery charger that worked with all types of rechargeable batteries and cost about twenty-five dollars. Sounds like a lot for a charger, but you want one that checks the batteries and doesn't automatically charge them if the battery dies. I haven't had this experience with any of these batteries, but I've had instances where some of my old batteries have ruptured internally after being thrown around and being charged a million times. They're more expensive to buy than alkaline batteries, but since you can charge them 500 times, they're worth a few dollars more when you first buy them. These batteries are a good deal, they're good for your wallet because you don't buy as many batteries as they are rechargeable, and a little bit better for the environment because you're not even throwing away 500 individual alkaline batteries that are dead. These are Definitely worth a look.
