The router installs easily and without surprises. The only disappointment was that the setup software that came with it is only a DEMO that will expire in about a month but will still work with the Windows XP utilities. It's cheap and small. It has a detachable antenna so you can install a more powerful or external antenna if needed. This unit requires an AC adapter (wall mount) which is a problem if you plan to mount the unit high up on a wall as the DC power cord is only about 6 feet long so the AC adapter may need to be plugged into an extension cord and only around the room hanging on the wall". I understand that some routers are powered by the network cable coming from the modem, so no adapter is needed. A great idea! I haven't tested it, but I suspect these devices are more expensive, which I didn't buy. In the end, the device works well, it's small and not too expensive and does what I needed to do, which is to get me a wireless connection. Access and mobility in my home.
