Right size for my draining needs and good quality
I bought these mesh filters to replace one from the 60's when it was washed in the dishwasher did the screen turn blue? I love this cone shape for draining and rinsing canned goods, sometimes leaving juice out of the jar. The cone shape directs most of the juice into the measuring cup rather than over the rim like wider and bowl-shaped filters do. They are stainless steel and hopefully they won't turn blue the first time they go in the dishwasher and will last the rest of my life.

Sift and filter out impurities and break up lumps in dry ingredients like flour, sugar and spices. Rinse fruits, vegetables, small grains, and pasta like quinoa, rice, and orzo.
