Not only were there more than enough plates in this set, but I still have a few left for the next family gathering we have and maybe even more more afterwards. Although my family is not that big, sometimes with kids we buy a lot of plates, so I bought more than I need. However, I ordered them mainly because of the design on these plates. The picture does not match the design. The edges of the plates have a designer finish and at first I thought this might be an issue, but it turns out that wasn't the case at all. The panels themselves are very strong and very durable. I was afraid the edges might chip under the weight of the food and people holding them, but they never broke. They are made of high quality material and are really durable. Such a strong family member thought it was my own dishes and actually washed them. More than enough space for dinner and more than enough space for people to get multiple dessert options. Definitely recommend them if you are looking for plates that are not only beautifully designed but also durable.
