Great for jogging and cycling with an easy transition

I am a very active person and this dog buggy/bike trailer has been a great investment for me and my dog. Instead of leaving them at home, I can now take my 15 pound King Charles Cavalier Spaniel with me wherever I go. We go jogging and cycling together regularly. DESIGN AND SIZE: This stroller is slightly larger than a regular stroller, but not big enough to be unwieldy. The handlebars are easy to remove and the top folds down for storage. There are mesh windows on each side, giving your dog a great view. The aluminum body makes it light enough that (after folding) I can easily lift it into the back of my SUV. I have a large SUV so I'm not sure how well it fits in the trunk of a car. Dog Room: My dog fits in the trailer with plenty of room (see photo). I managed to fit her and another Cavalier (about 20 pounds) quite comfortably. She loves to ride and will sit down as soon as it's ready to go. The first time I persuaded her with a toy and we went for a little walk. The next day she jumped straight into the car and we went for a run. Assembly: Took me about 30-45 minutes to take it out of the box, assemble it and get it ready for a run. The written instructions are a bit cryptic, but the pictures convey the necessary steps quite well. For jogging: The handlebar is height-adjustable so that everyone can push comfortably. Large wheels roll very easily and smoothly on asphalt or concrete. They can also move quite well on grass or mud. It's also very easy to manage. I can walk on pavement for 9-10 minutes, alternately pushing and leading it with just one hand. For cycling: Hooking it up to a bike is pretty easy and doesn't require any additional tools or accessories (which is worth the $ savings). The connection seems really strong and secure. The rear wheels have shock absorbers that give your dog a relatively smooth ride. I put the harness on my dog and tie it to the inside of the trailer with the included cord. This keeps her secure but also gives her enough wiggle room to wiggle or stick her head out the top window without jumping/jumping. The trailer is the right weight and size so I can easily tow it behind my bike. Overall I think this stroller/trailer was a great purchase for us. I can take it for running or cycling whenever and wherever I want. Switching between two different modes does not require any additional tools or special effort (5-10 minutes). I would recommend this product to anyone who has a small dog and would like to get them involved in more exercise without the risk of overexertion.
