Literally. If you have a smaller head then this cap is not for you. I think it's better suited to larger bodies, so it might fit perfectly on some people and look like a bucket on others. I'm fab short but what's frustrating about this cap is that you can adjust it but the velcro straps are the way to go. Therefore, once you resize it to the desired size, there is a piece of Velcro sticking out on the side. The shape of this cap is even worse. The bonnet seems to me at least too big. It feels like a duckbill. Plus, the top goes low so when you put it on you'll look like those cone-headed aliens. Just an ugly cap everywhere.
