I like the right rear location and the bracket over the tail light instead of the bumper; This places my 36" FireStik directly over the roofline of my 1999 Wrangler TJ. As others have said, get ready to drill a fourth hole in your body. First I tried without and proved them right; too many curves. I used a 1/8" bit and then a sheet metal screw. There's a gusset just behind that hole so you can't put a through bolt there, and the included zip nut is huge. I decided to start with the smallest hole I can find had to make in my body Overall a very good buy for your money.
