Hooke Road Antenna 1997 2006 Wrangler Review

Holds my 48" firestick as expected. Don't try to avoid drilling holes by skipping the top mounting hole, it's for a reason!

The assembly was very easy and reliable. The only thing I didn't like was that the end of the coaxial cable rubs against the light. The hole for the antenna could have been drilled an inch further.

This is for one item, not a pair as advertised. Terrible CS since they told me to contact Revain about the antenna I was supposed to get with this item!?! Not worth coming back for better options.

Excellent way to mount CB antenna on jeep tj but not very strong without top screw. The problem with the top screw is that you have to drill into the case, which I didn't intend to do. So I left it instead and now it's a little wobbly. Overall a good product

So this is a solid mount but the antenna hole is really too big for most CB antenna mounts. I had to drill a smaller hole next to the factory hole in the bracket. After that, the antenna mount got strong and strong. Made sure I submitted areas to be in touch with my TJ to follow up with good ground. In the end a really good SWR value.

I like the right rear location and the bracket over the tail light instead of the bumper; This places my 36" FireStik directly over the roofline of my 1999 Wrangler TJ. As others have said, get ready to drill a fourth hole in your body. First I tried without and proved them right; too many curves. I used a 1/8" bit and then a sheet metal screw.
