Pasteles Root Chopper
Purchased to chop root vegetables to make Puerto Ricans' favorite pasteles. Grinding by hand was time consuming and using a blender made the masa too soft. I bought one because of the price and because it was one of the very few that has the grinder needed to grind root vegetables to the consistency needed to make masa. So far, so good. Masa is not as tasty as handmade, but not as soft as a blender. It took me a few minutes to grind the root vegetables.
