"Dent " on outer circle and level does not sag

In the course of installing 16 new handles for front, passage and private doors throughout the home. Choose the Latitude line from Schlage. Installation was very easy. However, the two handles that I have installed so far do not hang parallel to the ground. They are slightly tilted downwards. I find it annoying. And all the door handles I ordered from Schlage are dented around the metal circle. Why? I have checked all that have arrived so far and they are all dented. Come on, Schlage - for a $30 doorknob, I don't expect them all to be dented! You notice that immediately after installation. I like the look, but the quality leaves a lot to be desired. UPDATE Called Schlage and the rep said the "dents" were creases that were part of the manufacturing process. I consider this a design flaw that detracts from the grip given the location of the clip. The buttons I removed didn't have crimps, so I don't know why they're needed. Please fix this, otherwise it's a great product. The representative also said that there is no way to counteract/correct the fact that it is not hanging parallel to the ground.
