This stud finder has been a great tool to help me complete my home projects. I wanted to hang a TV mount on the wall, but finding studs in my wall is always a pain. Until I bought this spike finder and it made my job a lot easier. As soon as I took the Spike Finder out of the box it started working immediately. All I had to do was place it on the wall where I wanted to find the studs and press the power and calibrate buttons. I then moved it along the wall and it helped me find where to drill the pilot holes. The Spikefinder also surprised me with its accuracy. Not only did he find the spike, he showed me which side of the spike I was on and if I was in the center of the spike. I really liked this feature because it gives me peace of mind that every time I mount something to the wall, it won't fall under load.
