I say "new design" because they look completely different than the dual QR taps that may have come with the older 2215 and 2213 pump kits. These new ones have long levers that are easier to turn sideways with simple human fingers. The originals had weird, smooth, chicken-like handles and were almost impossible to turn without pliers, but that's not a good idea with plastic parts! Turns out these halves will mate with all the old fittings too! So if you are too lazy and need to do a partial repair, you can do this. But you really should replace both sides on each inlet/outlet hose set.
