Bought because one of the OEM plastic connectors on my 4 door top broke while moving things around the garage. OEM plastic parts. It's a kind of alloy. They are heavy and fit perfectly. The quick connect feature is nice because you don't have to pry out a torx ratchet to loosen the clevis from your JK. The quick release connection is easy thanks to some O-rings that provide friction to prevent the pen from falling out. The best part is that the only wearing parts are the o-rings. You can replace them cheaply at the hardware store.
