Bought as a gift for my dad who is an avid builder. He loves this instrument and even my little brother likes to play with it. It's really easy to use and pretty accurate. The only complaint I would have is that the ends are flat, they have a ridge/corner. there might be a reason for it and without it it might not even work idk. this is a good gift
