First of all. The actual ADHESIVE part is the TRANSPARENT part that you separate from the white paper backing - yes I tried several times to press the white backing until I dug the clear part out of the trash. Second, after pressing TWO times for 60 seconds at 180°…. I increased the temperature to 380° for 60 seconds and BAM. Worked great. Hope that helps!
