I bought an old version of Soft Leather Cleaner at a thrift store. Little did I know the jagged edge meant it was for soft skins, but I loved it for potatoes and carrots. When I went to buy more I found it was for tomatoes and peaches. When I need to peel these fruits I use the scalding method but I tried it and it worked. If you are interested in such things. Of course, my husband didn't understand that I wanted to keep the blades and threw them away, but they are so sharp you'll want to keep them. Just upside down.
