🔪 Zyliss Smooth Glide Peeler Set, 7-inch, in Gray and Red Review

Glides smoothly; ergonomic. My husband is an engineer by training and approach and he said this is the best cleaning machine he has ever used (well, cheap). I like how the pen feels. We've kept our favorite for 25 years and it beats it!

Bought this set in addition to another Zyliss knife that is a few years old and losing sharpness. Unfortunately, the new cleaner is actually dumber forward than the old one. In the opposite direction, it looks just as sharp or even sharper. Poor quality control I think. Too bad. They also seem to have changed grip for the worse.

I have a Zyliss peeler that I have been using for many years. I decided it was time for a new one and since the one I have is fantastic I figured I'd buy a Zyliss again. What I got is nothing like my old one that still cuts better than the new one despite being old. I don't know what happened to the quality of this company but I will not buy another Zyliss peeler.

I bought an old version of Soft Leather Cleaner at a thrift store. Little did I know the jagged edge meant it was for soft skins, but I loved it for potatoes and carrots. About 14 years ago, when I needed a new potato peeler, I discovered Zyliss products.
