Great router for my cable modem. The router is mounted in the garage on the outside wall where the modem is located. It was easy to install and gives a good signal in my 3300 square feet. feet (three levels). For added security, I use a CAT5 wired connection for my desktop computer and a RATRAP firewall between the modem and router. I also have a Netgear AC1200 Wi-Fi Extender located at the opposite end of the house to extend the Wi-Fi signal to the farthest corner of our two-acre property. This system proved to be very reliable and trouble-free. We often have three users streaming videos simultaneously in different parts of the house with no issues.
