Price is right on my review.

The name brand filters tend to be fairly expensive, so an alternative that's cheaper is appreciated. In my refrigerator, it's not a perfect fit in that it's not quite as long as the original. It still fits and filters properly, but the end isn't quite flush with the edge of the cabinet. I will continue to purchase this product as it functions fine, and just because it's not a flush fit doesn't mean there's a problem.

The filter reduces the risk of waterborne illnesses and diseases

Cons

May not work for water with high levels of mercury
