This is my first set of wheels. The product is of good quality and works exactly as advertised. I started using them straight away and found that they weren't that difficult to ride. The tapered rollers help keep the bike centered, but without bumpers on the sides it's definitely possible to accidentally slide off the edge while learning. Through regular use of the rollers, I have noticed a significant improvement in my pedaling technique. In that sense, they helped more than just as a training tool. With my bike (professional road bike) in top gear, I can train fairly well, but the lack of resistance is very evident. Roller skates will teach you how to kick correctly (in a full circle), since a wrong kicking technique (known as "squares") will cause you to lose balance and control of the rollers. The product is easy to assemble, use and store. So far I am very satisfied with the product after using it daily for several weeks. It looks like it will hold up and stand up to years of use.
