A few notes; 1. Measure the top of the tank to the bottom, then subtract 2 inches to determine the size. Fuel pickup doesn't deliver the last few inches of fuel, and it's better to think you have more fuel than less. 2. Do not use the Phillips head screws that came with the sensor. Purchase a transmitter installation kit that includes cap screws to ensure you can remove the fasteners years later. Using the correct faucet to thread the tank also helps. I used Permatex Aviation Sealant to create a "seal" on the surface of the tank. Never use RTV silicone around gasoline.
