Blades don't hold sharpening. You get what you pay for.
That's fine for the cheapest carving kit you can get. But for a few euros you can get much better knives. They are sharp enough to carve very soft wood but definitely not intended for carving hard wood. The blades hold no edge at all. I tested them with a soft piece of cherry and found that the blade dulls after 2-3 cuts. One of the blades wasn't in the right grip either. Not worth the money.
