Bought this primarily to test coax cables. Used it on a short cord to see if it worked which it did. Then I spent about an hour trying to figure out where the coax in my house was disconnected and couldn't find anything. I checked the tester again, but it no longer works. Changing the battery didn't work. Not sure if the tester itself sucks or the BNC connectors. I'm assuming it's BNC since the tester doesn't show any visible damage inside the device (I was expecting cracked solder or something). The tester still works with phone jacks and ethernet jacks, which is the only reason I gave it 2 stars. I will probably call the company for assistance as that is what they advertise.
