Not recommended for ice makers

I wouldn't recommend this cheaper ice maker. The idea is great but the inner spinner doesn't stay on the lid so if the ice cream gets a little thick the mixer just spins with the mixture and stops whipping. You have to stand there and bring it to the lid so it stays in place to whip the cream.
