Updated June 26, 2020: I accidentally ordered another Wix filter this year and completely forgot I ordered PureFlow last year (I change these filters every year after the pollen season ends). OH MY! When I drove today, the cabin smelled horribly. Wow, PureFlow did a great job eliminating those noxious smells and I just didn't know about it until I removed it from the install. The proof is coming, a simple paper filter is exactly what you need. I'm about to order a new PureFlow filter!--------------------- - I've been using Wix branded filters for a number of years but I saw this when I was there this year ordered a filter and decided to give it a try; They were both about the same, but this filter supposedly did more. Received the filter a few weeks ago and installed it as usual. It was slightly firmer than the Wix filter and was "firm" when pushed in. But got in without much effort. I've been driving the car for a week now and it smells just as I expected. So far I'm glad I bought the PureFlow cabin filter. If anything changes within the next 12 months, I will update this review. For those who think it won't fit properly because it's too tight, don't press the filter back in the middle. Using both hands, gently push the two outer edges inward at the same time; then he will fall on the spot. It's good to be tight as it prevents solids from escaping around the edges of the filter.

Pros
  • The second and third layers of activated carbon block hazardous gases such as carbon monoxide, sulfur dioxide. This layer, combined with baking soda, absorbs unpleasant odors. 4th layer with increased protection.
Cons
  • Very Expensive
