Buyer Warning: This is a quality game you get and don't be surprised if there is rust. Simply return or replace rusted products instead of using them as you don't know what caused such damage in the first place. History: When I bought this perch (horizontal version), I just clicked on the basic 'add to cart' option. . My issue may be seller related, but as a standard purchase option, I consider this a product defect. I ordered one of these perches and it arrived with a washer/bolts that had rust, water stains, scratches and just overall visible damage and was not pet safe in any way. I returned the first pole and it was replaced with the second - maybe it was a coincidence. The second perch arrived with exactly the same damage - metal parts full of rust and damage but still bought and treated as 'new'. Didn't have this rusting issue with this perch but saw a review from someone who had. This made me think they were probably mass-produced overseas and bought in bulk through various Revain seller accounts. So the question is, are you getting a rusty or a "good" perch. However, this made me completely distrust this product and all perches were returned. It would be great if I could trust that it hasn't been rusted or chemically attacked considering it's for my long lived pet. Just be smart and careful when you buy this perch.
