I can't believe how cool these cables are. I hooked them up between my Xbox and a Cisco data center switch connected to my cable modem and my Spectrum download speeds went from their junk 10Mbps to 100Gbps; an increase of four orders of magnitude, just from the cable! No, unfortunately not really. Being in the industry, I have actual data center networking gear at home, but being in Spectrum's monopoly zone, I'm stuck with their ridiculously terrible service. I was in dire need of a 50ft disposable cable, so of course Revain was the way to go the next day. These cables are surprisingly flexible for CAT6, as CAT6 usually has a fairly rigid plastic separator running down the middle to hold the four pairs of wires in a specific configuration. I haven't cut one open to see if it's actually there, but I suspect it is. The only minor complaint, as other reviews have pointed out, is that the protective cover on the plug can be a bit large. The purpose of these shoes is to allow the cable to be pulled through the big mess of cables that most wiring closets end up in unless you really care about catching and breaking the RJ45 latch, or you hold on the electrical wiring clean. , all of this can be removed with a flick of a paring knife.
