They fit, they work!
We’ve had a torchiere lamp for 20 years. It started out with a 300 watt halogen. Very bright, very hot. We used it rarely due to this. Finally found a 150 watt halogen to fit, and felt better about the energy use. Meanwhile, we built a new house. Every bulb is LED except this torchiere, which now used more watts when on than almost the entire rest of the house! Bulb technology plods on.Some program on NPR about bulb efficiency got me thinking (and shopping!) and I ordered these.After 2 decades of high watt usage, I had to clean off the contact ends in the lamp. The fit was perfect.They light right away, and even the old dimmer in the lamp smoothly and noiselessly works. I had ordered the warm white 3000k version. Very pleased with the light output and color temperature. Just bright enough.Very happy with purchase!
