Overall this is a good product. Pre-wiring helps a lot. I didn't power the switches when they were off to save battery life, and it was easy enough to do so. Wiring was simple, and it was easy to add lights and a bilge pump to the switches. The only reason I took off a star is that the USB ports always light up a small blue LED (even when not in use). The power is consumed during storage, so I have to unplug the battery every time I'm not using it. I'll probably add a kill switch to fix this, but it's just a minor inconvenience. The padding around it is up to my standards and I don't think there will be any waterproofing issues. The box in the picture is a Lowe 6x6 switch box that I installed and painted. All in all I would buy it again for another project.
