Review on RockDove Women'S Chenille Lightweight Closed Back Slipper by Kathryn Brown

I ordered a size 10 to replace a size 9-10 worn-out slipper. Fit borders on being too snug. I compared measurements -old slipper to new - and was surprised that the Rock Dove slipper measures bigger than old slipper. (I measured sole and toe box, -which is where fit feels too snug.). After measuring, I realized that the almost-too-snug issue with the slipper is due to the generous padding inside the slipper. Ordinarily, the padding would be an enhancement, but here, it affects the overall fit. I may not be able to wear these with socks (which I sometimes prefer) due to the padding. Soles are thick and seemingly resilient, but have not washed slippers yet, as I do with most slippers. Will see if they fit better after breaking in. Update: with wear, the fit on these slippers has improved. The fit has improved because the padding and structure of the slipper has eased due to wear. Update again after washing.
