RockDove Women'S Chenille Lightweight Closed Back Slipper Review

I unfortunately had these for too long before giving them as a gift so I was unable to return them. They are sized incredibly to small. Build quality is good, softness is great. They are a really nice slipper but they are sized way to small, just know that before ordering or send the seller a message.

Most of the reviews suggest ordering a size up so I did and wish I hadn't. The memory foam will compress. That said, they are comfortable both indoors and for quick trips out to the yard. I have the blue and love the color. Stay true to your size and give them time.

My wife really likes these slippers, however, the vinyl trim on the back of the heal of one of the slippers is irritating the heal of her foot, causing a sore spot. She has been covering the spot on her heal with a band aid for now in hopes the problem will go away once they're broken-in. She's had them less than a week. So far, she is happier with them than anything she has been able to buy in the stores.Same!

I returned the shoes because the person I ordered them for no longer needed them. However, the shoe was a bit tight. Nice cushion and beautiful blue. Soft and a nice look on her feet. But again smaller than expected.

I ordered a size 10 to replace a size 9-10 worn-out slipper. Fit borders on being too snug. I compared measurements -old slipper to new - and was surprised that the Rock Dove slipper measures bigger than old slipper. (I measured sole and toe box, -which is where fit feels too snug.). I ordered a size 7, which is my normal fit, they were too small and my toes were pressed against the front of the slipper. So I up sized to an 8 and I do have narrow feet so they slip out of the back heel area.Good for indoors but will not take them out, which is fine. Just needed my "mr. Rodgers” shoes for indoor only, especially for this pandemic.Very comfortable, in the size 8, not ideal for me to walk the dog. I don’t want the hassle of returning another pair.

Confirming other reviewers' notes, I found one size up fit me well (for length, not just padding). When the slippers first arrived, the padding was so thick that I had to pull the slippers on by hand, but within a few days the padding packed down and I was able to step in and out of the slippers easily (which is what I wanted). Love these slippers. My first pair of closed in slippers to keep my feet warm. For someone who has a lot of foot pain, they are so comfortable. Didn’t have to break them in. I normally wear a 7 but because of reviews I ordered an 8 and they fit nicely.

This is a nice slipper. It seemed a bit small when I first put it on, but after an hour or so, it was fine. As others have mentioned there was a seam on the back of the heel that rubbed and was uncomfortable at first. By late in the day I didn't notice it anymore. The slippers are very comfortable with the memory foam insoles. The soles are firm enough to walk in the garage or out to the mailbox. The cloth seems very durable. I have not washed them yet, so don't know how they will hold up in that way. I have worn them for only a week at this point. I normally wear a 9 or 9.5 shoe and ordered the slippers in a size 10. They fit perfectly.

The shoes are very comfy for sure but I was initially quite surprised at how fast the memory foam wears out. The shoes fit perfectly when they first arrived but after less than 2 weeks of daily wear, they stretch out so much that they feel like a size too big. The slipper is comfortable for the most part and fits true to size. It’s a house slipper so it doesn’t afford much support (not a problem for me). The main issue that I have is that there are multiple strings that have come loose inside the slipper that makes it uncomfortable at times. I think this might be a quality issue. Not sure I would order again based on this. I feel like I can do better for the price.

These slippers are a perfect fit. I need the whole sizes such as an 8. The whole sizes are getting more difficult to find. A size 7 to 8 is not a comfortable fit for me. I will be ordering another pair of these slippers in the burgundy. I am very pleased with this purchase

As others are saying, they run small. I'd have ordered a larger size, if I'd read the reviews. When the seller asked me to write a review, I said they wouldn't want mine, since I wasn't that happy with them, but I didn't return them, because I wore them outside. I usually wear size 7 - 7 1/2 but bought size 8 based on reviews that these slippers run small, and I had previously purchased another style in my size and they were too small. These are nice slippers, however, they are a bit loose and slip off my heels on stairs. They are better with socks. I chose cotton slippers because fleece makes my feet perspire and then feel cold. That's most important to me an these keep my feet dry and warm!

I like the houseshoes , but for me personal the inner and outer sole’s are much too thin. I have trouble with my balls of the feet and the foam is already pressed down after 3 day’s wearing them.But for people without a foot problem, they are very nice!
