As others are saying, they run small. I'd have ordered a larger size, if I'd read the reviews. When the seller asked me to write a review, I said they wouldn't want mine, since I wasn't that happy with them, but I didn't return them, because I wore them outside. They immediately sent me a larger pair. Most likely, the padding makes them feel smaller, much like a wide ring, in your normal size, won't go on your finger.When you get the size right, there's a lot to like. They are what my dad would call house shoes. They fit like a shoe, but are comfy like a slipper. You can run up and down the stairs without worrying about them flying off your feet. You can wear them outside, even if the ground is wet. You can drive with them on, without worrying they might fall off. If you're hanging out at the house, but need to run an errand, no need to change into your street shoes. These are going to get a lot of use.
