Review on 💡 Pack of 5 JIUWU LM317 Buck Step Down Power Supply Modules for DIY-DC Linear Conversion by Edris Holwell

Shipped 5 Pack for $10. I wasn't expecting the highest quality, I just needed some extra small converters. I didn't regulate the tension, no matter how many turns I tried, at least a dozen in either direction, I didn't regulate the tension. Another blew up a component when connected to the network but was still working. Surprised about that. And the other 3 worked as expected. However, I have connected a 12V computer fan. The fan says 0.8A (800mA), connected to the battery and it worked outdoors for about 2 minutes, then it heated up and the voltage dropped. So it's nowhere near 3 amps max, I figured at 25% max the rating should work. Checked 2 more, same thing. I used them to derate a 36v scooter controller that I swapped out for my kids' electric bikes. Reduced to 15V for LEDs and brake light, they work perfectly. But overall not bad considering the price, quantity of product and time to purchase (straight off the couch).
