I have no idea what the negative reviews are about. I love this coffee maker. I change my car every year and at this price I can afford it. Makes good, hot, strong coffee and fully saturates the beans. The warmer keeps the coffee hot with no bitterness or bitter taste. Pause and Fill works just as well as any other brand I've bought, and I learned a long time ago to stop throwing money away on expensive brands (it's like rolling a device with your heavy investment). This coffee maker is a workhorse that gets me a good cup of coffee every morning.
