I bought them, as did Faber-Castell pencil 9000 Design Pencil bought them mainly because they were considered darker and came with the 6B. First, they weren't sharpened like the 9000, which some people might prefer, but I have. It's hard to find a good sharpener and I'm too lazy to sharpen them with a knife. so I couldn't get a good and sharp point to try on. They also don't come with a reusable container like the 9000 - no big deal. I compared these two marks in the photo with a line from left to right - light pressure - heavy pressure for the respective pins. I realize that Tombow generally has a softer lead and the change in tone from one strain to another is quite mild. Whereas Faber-Castell covers a broader range from B to 5B. The Tombow 6B gives me a softer, darker tone which I wanted for contrast so overall it's a good set. Eraser - it's not - I've reviewed erasers in a pack of two - in summary: the eraser's ability to lift graphite depends on the paper used.
