Review on 📚 Strathmore 300 Series Watercolor Paper 9x12 Pad - Pack of 2: Premium Quality, Wire Bound, White by Wendy Rodriguez

I've read snide comments about Strathmore being more of a student newspaper, but unless you mean serious students I'm not sure that's even a fair description is. I'm a semi-serious artist, although I've only recently started getting more involved with watercolor. I think this paper is wonderful. It is 140# and has wonderful texture on both sides. You can also just erase the entire page and start over if you wish, even with a dry painting. I don't have any local art supplies so I rely solely on online shopping and hope the texture of the paper is what I want. That's good, not overly absorbent paper. Get a spiral if you want everything together. If you need separate sheets, do them with tape, I prefer tape so I can tape the side for painting and drying so it doesn't warp. But as far as it goes, when riding wet on dry there's really no buckling. This is good paper. This is great for practicing technique and 'good' enough to know that your results can be reproduced on 'thinner' paper.
