Pentax cameras are notorious for their slow or unstable focusing. However, my K-1 paired with this lens proves all skeptics wrong. Not only does this lens focus quickly, it is also the sharpest lens I have ever owned. The focus range limiter is a very nice feature, but feels almost redundant with this lens's focus acquisition capabilities. The only downside I see with this lens is its weight - it's not light. Cheap tripods will struggle with the weight of this lens.
