My daughter is 8 years old and these gloves fit well and are perfect for her hands. You can secure these gloves well with the strap, so the gloves fit snugly even with small wrists. The gloves are 8 oz. So if you have a chance to look at other 8 oz gloves in person you will get a good idea of the size of these gloves. The pink is bright and vibrant, but not enough to grab you. My daughter uses them during her MMA class strikes and these gloves give her the support and protection she and her classmates need. Overall these gloves are well made and have a great design and we would recommend them.
