Suitable for modifications
The cable itself is fine, but the way it is attached is not. They only give a bolt and no nut so I'm assuming it has to cut into the metal of my tailgate. The thread size is too small and the screw was loose and eventually fell out. I had to replace the bolt and washer combination with my own bolts, washers, nuts and lock washers. Now it's going nowhere! Once I've solved this problem, it works great, fits well and is very sturdy.
