theoretically nice but makes my underwear STRONGER
Bought as a sustainable solution to crazy winter static but it actually makes things more static. I rip them off, showering myself with static sparks, and each ball of yarn comes loose like a miniature coronavirus. I'm sure there's a better metaphor I could use. blowfish? Dandelion? One way or another, each of them comes out with their hair sticking up due to insane accumulation of static electricity. I'm not ready to give them up yet, but I'm not sure if they'll help my static problem. On the plus side, 6 balls of yarn in the dryer makes my down jackets fluffier than ever.
